Yoga for the Fourth Trimester is a unique nurturing program for mums and their newborns, designed to support you through the tender early weeks after birth. In this safe and gentle space, you’ll be guided to heal, move, breathe, and reconnect - with yourself, your baby, and a community of mothers walking the same path.
Through mindful movement and breathwork, you’ll restore your body, nourish your mind, and find strength and softness in this new season of motherhood.

A unique Mums & BUBS program
The fourth trimester is such an important one for new mamas (feeling often vulnerable and alone), and a time for them to be gentle, kind and respectful of their physical and emotional needs.
It is a time to heal from the inside out, to (re)connect with yourself (body, mind and spirit). To gradually rebuild strength. To ease and soften into new ways of being and doing. To feel supported.

This program is designed for your physical and mental + emotional health. It focuses on healing from the inside out, rebuilding strength (think pelvic floor, abs and more), stretching your body (still recovering from pregnancy and birth and adjusting to life with a newborn) and finding energy, calm and clarity. And above all, it is a program to find connections (with yourself, your body, your breath, your baby and of course other mamas).
Each week, we will explore a new theme together for a mindful and loving postpartum, and week after week we will discover a new range of movements as you regain some strength.
Who is this for?
Ideal for mamas in their 4th trimester (between 6-16 weeks postpartum) with their newborns
Program suits all yoga levels, for mothers who are looking to return safely to movement, breath and relaxation
Classes are held in a supporting space and adapted for mamas working with different postpartum and birth stories - come and find your support group too!
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Classes are starting with a facilitated circle (15 to 30 min) followed by a yoga class (45 to 60 min) including meditation, movement and breathwork.
Participants are encouraged to stay afterwards for a cuppa or lunch (shared plates can be organised for final session).

Monday 17th November (5-week program instead of 6 due to Christmas). Classes will be held at the new BCP hub in Warners Bay

Certified fertility and perinatal (pregnancy and postpartum - mums and bubs) yoga teacher, mama of two
Becoming a mum is one of the most transformative experiences a woman will go through (physically, hormonally, emotionally, mentally, socially...). My mission is to guide and support you during your journey with breath, mindful movement, connection and love.
If I do what I do today, it is thanks to my own matrescence. I knew for a while that my purpose in life was not in my former career. I enjoyed it, but something was missing. My first pregnancy sparked my transition to working with women, and doing my yoga teacher training while 26 pregnant showed me the path I would take to do so. This is how Yoga for Mama was born.
